Ans. The traveller finds himself standing on a fork in the path. He is in a problem as he must choose one path and he is unable to decide which one to choose.
यात्री खुद को दोराहे पर खड़ा हुआ पाता है। उसके सामने यह समस्या है कि उसे एक रास्ता चुनना है और वह निर्णय नहीं कर पाता कि किस रास्ते को चुने।

(2) What is the meaning of “It was a grassy and unwanted wear?”
इस पंक्ति का क्या अभिप्राय है-“It was a grassy and unwanted wear?”
Ans. It means that the path had a lot of grass on it. This means that it had not been walked over by many people.
इसका मतलब है कि रास्ते में काफी घास है और इस पर लोगों की आवाजाही कम रही।

(3) Is there any difference between the two roads as the poet describes them in stanzas two and three ?

Ans. The two paths were similar. In the beginning, the poet felt that one of them was
grassy and had not been walked over by many people, but when he walked on it for some
distance, he realized that it was like the other road.

Ans. The last two lines of the poem mean the acceptance of reality. The poet made a choice and accepted the challenging path. He wanted to do something different in his life so he chooses the less travelled road. No he does not regret his choice.

Ans. No, the speaker does not feel that he has made a wrong decision by taking the road less travelled by. The poet wanted too explore both the roads. He tells himself that he will explore one and then come back and explore the other, but he knows that he will probably be unable to do so. He regrets this, so he sighs.
जी नहीं, कवि को महसूस नहीं होता कि उसने गलत निर्णय लिया है उस रास्ते को चुन कर, जिस पर कि कम लोग चले हों। कवि दोनों रास्तों का अनुभव करना चाहता था। वह अपने मन में सोचता है कि वह एक रास्ते पर चलेगा उसका अनुभव लेगा, फिर वापस आयेगा दूसरे रास्ते पर चलने के लिए। पर वह जानता है कि वह शायद वापस ना आ पाये। इसी बात का उसे पछतावा है, इसलिए वह गहरी सांस लेता है।

Ans. We must make ourselves strong to face the violent wind. When we are strong, the wind will not harm us, instead it will become a friend and help us to grow and flourish.
हमें प्रचंड वायु से सामना करने के लिए खुद को ताकतवर बनाना चाहिए। अगर हम ताकतवर होंगे तो वायु हमारा कुछ नुकसान नहीं कर पायेगी, बल्कि वो हमारी दोस्त बन जायेगी और हमें आगे बढ़ने और उन्नति करने में मदद करेगी।

The shopkeepers of such stalls are delighted as the people waiting for the rain to subside, often end up buying tea and snacks. .

(3) What is the meaning of “bleeding bark”? What makes it bleed?
यहाँ “bleeding bark” (रिसती हुई छाल) का क्या मतलब है ? किस बात से पेड़ रिसता है ?
Ans. Here, “bleeding bark” means the twigs which are cut mercilessly, they leave a liquid substance. dy is cut it st If any part of the human body is cut, it starts bleeding, in the same way, the liquid substance comes out from the branch of a tree. The axe of human beings makes it bleed.
यहाँ ‘bleeding bark’ का मतलब है-जो शाखाएँ निर्ममता से काटी जाती हैं वहाँ से कुछ द्रव सा निकलता है। जिस तरह से इंसान के शरीर का कोई हिस्सा कटने पर खून बहने लगता है, उसी प्रकार पेड़ की शाखा से द्रव निकलने लगता है। इंसानों की कुल्हाड़ी ही इस रिसाव का कारण है।

(4)What is the meaning of Manchoring earth” and Mearth cave” ?
यहाँ “anchoring earth” और “earth cave” का क्या मतलब है?
Ans. Here, “anchoring earth” means that the earth protects the tree like a mother. Here, “earth cave” implies a hole inside it. The tree allows its roots to spread underneath. The earth protects it and fosters it. It provides all the essential ingredients to the tree.
यहाँ “anchoring earth” का मतलब है कि पृथ्वी पेड़ की ऐसे ही रक्षा करती है जैसे कि माँ।
यहाँ “earth cave” संकेत करता है कि पृथ्वी के अन्दर छेद है। पेड़ की जड़ें गहरे तक हर जगह फैल जाती हैं। पृथ्वी उसकी रक्षा करती है और माता की तरह ख्याल रखती है। वह पेड़ को प्रत्येक जरूरी पोषक तत्व प्रदान करती है।

(5) What does the poet mean by “the strength of the tree exposed” ?

Ans. The stem and root are the strength of a tree. When the tree is pulled out, its strength is exposed to sunlight and air.
